Disadvantaged children and families will be the focus of a St Patrick’s Day luncheon hosted by CatholicCare this Thursday 17 March at NSW Parliament House. More than 200 guests have confirmed their attendance in order to raise much needed funds to provide crucial services for children, young people and families in need.
Celebrating its 70th year in 2011, CatholicCare provides essential services to Sydney’s disadvantaged communities especially those who face challenges through disability, poverty, abuse or neglect, homelessness, social isolation, personal conflict or distress.
‘We are reliant on the support given through government and the Sydney Archdiocese, but as demand for our services continues to grow we are turning to fundraising events such as the St Patricks day lunch,’ commented Mr Bernard Boerma, Chief Executive Officer of CatholicCare.
‘In addition to government support, we rely on funds raised through events like the St Patrick’s Day Luncheon, to be able to facilitate these services. Each year CatholicCare has helped more than 300,000 people in need across Sydney.’
Enjoy a superb two-course lunch, fabulous entertainment, marvellous music, lucky door prizes, raffles, auctions and more. Book a table and bring all your friends.
A limited number of tickets are still available to the event:
