Do you go for a walk at the end of the day? Or do you enter the occasional fun run? Do you even run marathons around the major cities? If so this event has got to be on your bucket list!

Imagine travelling along one of the world’s most spectacular areas: Victoria’s Great Ocean Road. Even better, getting off the Road and into the trials to see and feel the country like never before. The Great Ocean Walk event, held 15th October, follows 100km of this iconic south west Victorian coastline. The tracks and trials hosted over 100 runners that, as individuals or teams, conquered the distance.

If you think 100km is a long way (which it is) then remember the time passes fast as you travel along the sites from Apollo Bay, Parker River Inlet, Cape Otway, Johanna Beach and the 12 Apostles.

The event is run by the Trial Running Company whose attention to details made for an amazing race. Combined this with the local hospitality at the aid stations and accommodation venues and you have an event that is set grow.
