Dr Sam and Sharon Mings received an enthusiastic welcome by his Lay Witnesses for Christ International 'Bridging the Gap 2012 London Olympic outreach' Jamaican team during their recent visit.
They spoke in numerous places, provided wisdom for their leaders in their own ministries, met with the LWFCI leadership team and numerous elite athletes, and met for prayer on numerous occasions.
Dr Sam Mings has since made a number of appointments to the executive team for the Bridging the Gap 2012 London outreach.
Jamaica has many elite track and field athletes, none more so than Usain Bolt the Beijing Olympic Gold Medallist sprinter. Many remember his post victory antic of a lightning bolt (a bit like shooting a bow and arrow).
