The events are being organised by local churches to celebrate 100 years of evangelical Christianity in the country.
The official 100th anniversary celebration will be held at Da Nang and Hanoi on June 14 to 16.
The outreach marks the first major collaborative effort by the major denominations in bringing the Gospel to the nation.
The events also signal the considerable growth of the churches in Vietnam and their improving relations with the government.
Between 1975 and 2010, the number of Christians in the country grew from 100,000 to more than two million.
Local churches want to see the number of believers pass 10 million by the year 2020 and are hoping that Palau's visit will kick start efforts in this direction.
Palau was invited to lead the mission by Vietnamese church leaders during his visit to the country last year.
