The WA Attorney-General Christian Porter introduced a Prostitution Bill in the WA Legislative Assembly on 3 November 2011. Debate is expected soon after Parliament resumes on 21 February 2012.

FamilyVoice Australia is canvassing public opinion on the bill – with a 10-question anonymous survey on issues related to prostitution law reform.

The survey contains many provocative questions, such as: “I would be happy if my adult daughter worked in a brothel” or “Prostitution should be included as a valid option in school career guidance”.

FamilyVoice Australia stresses that the survey will not be used for a petition, but simply used to seek honest answers from the public.

The survey’s deadline is Wednesday 11 January 9:00pm WST, and can be accessed here: www.surveymonkey.com/s/prostitutionlawreform
